Why our model protects you
What "Dry Hire" Means — and Why It Protects Hosts
Well Served BYOB Bartending is a labor-only service. You purchase and supply the alcohol from any store you choose. We provide certified, insured professionals to run the bar.
That separation matters. Because we never sell, furnish, or transport alcohol for sale, there is no commercial alcohol transaction for your event — the host stays in control of what is bought, and our insured, certified team controls how it is served. Hosts tell us it's the most comfortable way to serve drinks at a private event.
Every event, without exception
Our Standards
- Certified servers
- Every bartender holds TIPS or Florida Responsible Vendor certification and is trained in responsible service.
- $1M insurance
- We carry $1 million in general and liquor liability coverage, with venue certificates available within 24 hours.
- ID policy
- Any guest who appears under 40 is carded. No ID, no drink — regardless of who they know.
- Refusal of service
- Our bartenders are trained and empowered to refuse service to minors and intoxicated guests, and to cut off any guest who has had too much.
- No shots, no self-serve
- Unless specifically contracted, we do not serve shots and never leave the bar unattended or self-serve.
- Last call, 30 minutes before end
- Service winds down 30 minutes before the bar closes so guests leave your event safely.
- Event incident log
- Every event is documented. If anything happens, you have a record of exactly what was served and when.
Compliance language, for your venue
Well Served BYOB Bartending LLC provides bartending labor only. Clients purchase and supply all alcoholic beverages. We do not sell, furnish, or transport alcohol for sale. Our bartenders are TIPS or Florida Responsible Vendor certified (Florida does not issue bartender licenses) and we carry $1M general and liquor liability insurance.
